Woman sentenced to 40 years for trafficking methamphetamine

The judge also imposed a $1 million fine against Megan Vicknair.

MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Baldwin County woman is sentenced to 40 years, with the first 25 years in prison on Wednesday.

According to Ocmulgee District Attorney’s Office, the judge also imposed a $1 million fine against Megan Vicknair after she entered a guilty plea to trafficking methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, crossing guard lines with drugs, and furnishing prohibited items to inmates.

The District Attorney’s Office says Vicknair and her codefendant, Earl Walter Collins, were arrested in May of 2025 with more than 400 grams of methamphetamine while attempting to distribute the drugs to inmates at Riverbend Correctional Facility in Milledgeville.
