Two Macon men sentenced in separate violent cases, one banned from judicial circuit
Two Macon men will spend years behind bars following convictions in separate violent cases, according to the Macon Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Repeat offender sentenced after multiple shootings
Trevonta Markell Williams pleaded guilty on March 25, 2026, to three separate indictments, including two counts of aggravated assault and two counts of theft by receiving.
Prosecutors say Williams shot the same victim twice in two separate incidents that occurred just four days apart, terrorizing a neighborhood in Macon.
He was sentenced to 20 years, with 10 years to be served in the Georgia Department of Corrections. In addition, Williams has been permanently banned from the Macon Judicial Circuit.
Officials say he will remain in prison until 2039.
Serial probation violator sentenced after carjacking, jailhouse stabbing
In a separate case, Christopher Dewayne Bonner was sentenced after what prosecutors described as a pattern of escalating violence.
On March 25, 2026, the court granted a request from the District Attorney’s Office to revoke Bonner’s probation.
Bonner has now been sentenced to serve time in the Georgia Department of Corrections until April 24, 2041.
Officials with the Macon Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office say both cases highlight ongoing efforts to hold repeat offenders accountable and improve safety across the community.
