Deputies: 2 hospitalized after being shot in Macon Saturday
Deputies say one of the victims sought help at a Pio Nono Avenue gas station.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Two people were injured in a shooting Saturday night in Macon, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
A news release says deputies responded around 6:30 p.m. to a report of a person shot at LOLO Gas Station on Pio Nono Avenue. Deputies found a 22-year-old man there with a gunshot wound.
The man told deputies he had been shot while inside a vehicle before running to the gas station for help, the release said. An ambulance took him to a hospital.
A second victim with a gunshot wound, a 17-year-old boy, was also taken to a hospital by a private vehicle.
According to medical staff, both victims are listed in stable condition.
The sheriff’s office says the shooting remain under investigation.
