Georgia State Patrol says the crash happened Saturday afternoon at the intersection of Larry Walker Parkway and Marshallville Road.

PERRY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – One person died after a two-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon at a Houston County intersection, according to the Georgia State Patrol.
In response to a 41NBC inquiry, troopers said the crash happened around 12:30 p.m. at the intersection of Larry Walker Parkway and Marshallville Road.
According to preliminary details from the Georgia State Patrol, a gray Nissan Versa was traveling southwest on Marshallville Road approaching the stop sign at Larry Walker Parkway. A white Chevrolet 2500 pickup truck was traveling west on Larry Walker Parkway.
Troopers say after stopping at the posted stop sign, the driver of the Nissan Versa entered the intersection but failed to yield to the oncoming pickup truck. The vehicles collided, resulting in what troopers described as a “serious injury crash.”
An ambulance took all three occupants of the Nissan Versa to Atrium Health Navicent in Macon. The front-seat passenger later died from injuries sustained in the crash.
That person’s name has not been released, and GSP did not reveal the condition of the other vehicle’s driver.
