Man arrested after commercial burglary on Emery Highway
The burglary happened about 6 a.m. Thursday at Thunderbird Package, 2585 Emery Highway.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — A man was arrested in connection with the burglary of a commercial business, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
The burglary happened about 6 a.m. Thursday at Thunderbird Package, 2585 Emery Highway.
According to a news release, deputies responded to Thunderbird Package in reference to a burglar alarm. A witness reported an unknown man inside the business.
When deputies arrived, they found the business doors were secure. A man was later discovered on the roof of the business.
The man was identified as 53-year-old Rodney Bernard Hogan of Macon.
The news release states deputies were able to access the roof of the business and located a bag in Hogan’s possession.
Deputies found an undisclosed amount of cash and merchandise taken from the business, as well as tools, inside the bag.
Hogan was transported to the Criminal Investigation Division for further investigation and later to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center.
Hogan was charged with felony second-degree burglary and probation violation. He is being held without bond.
