Bibb County inmate stabbed, investigation underway

The 49-year-old inmate was transported to a local hospital and has returned to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/ WMGT) – An inmate was stabbed Tuesday at the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

According to the sheriff’s office, the stabbing happened around 1 a.m.

The 49-year-old inmate was transported to a local hospital and has returned to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center.

The incident is under investigation.
