Pine AI’s “Consumer Friction Index” ranks the companies consumers most frequently have customer service issues or complaints with. The company says it has a 93 percent success rate in negotiating lower bills and has saved consumers more than $3 million total, with an average savings of $400 per user.

Meanwhile, Parloa is one of many startups developing AI agents designed to automate customer service tasks previously handled by human representatives and help desk staff.

Parloa’s AI can even help users plan vacations if they are unsure where to go. The company is now investing in technology that will allow personalized AI agents to recognize a customer’s identity and specific needs, whether they reach out through an app, website, or phone call.

In lifestyle tech news, more Americans are outlining their goals digitally.

According to data conducted by Talker Research on behalf of HP Print, people who rely on digital tools alone often struggle with follow-through. Among those who write goals digitally, 41 percent admitted they forget them.

One in four respondents said being able to easily update and reprint reminders as goals change is a key factor in making and keeping goals digitally.
