There have been a few showers to this point, however more widespread rain is likely through the evening hours. A rumble of thunder or two cannot be ruled out but it should largely just be light to moderate rainfall. The wind will remain strong overnight with gusts reaching 25 or so mph. The wind will go from the south-southeast this evening to the south-southwest before the cold front arrives (sometime after midnight). Once the front passes the wind will shift to out of the northwest. Overnight lows will largely be in the upper 40s and lower 50s ahead of sunrise Friday.

Sunday is the first day of winter but will not feel like it as temperatures reach into the upper 60s and possibly lower 70s. It will largely be a warm and sunny pattern leading up to Christmas next week, however Monday should be a little bit cooler.
