Commercial armed robbery under investigation at Lucky Food Mart
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery after a suspect held up the Lucky Food Mart on Main Street Sunday evening.
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT-DT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery after a suspect held up the Lucky Food Mart on Main Street Sunday evening. Deputies say the call came in around 6:49 p.m.
According to investigators, a man entered the store armed with a gun and demanded cash. He ran from the business with an undisclosed amount of money, heading off on foot in an unknown direction. No injuries were reported during the robbery.
Deputies describe the suspect as a Black male wearing brown coveralls and a ski mask. An image from the store’s surveillance system has been released as part of the investigation.
