GBI: Arrests made after meth, cocaine and firearms seized at Macon apartment

Agents say they seized meth, cocaine, oxycodone, marijuana, firearms and cash during a Winton Avenue search.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Two Macon residents were arrested after state and local agencies carried out an investigation that led to the seizure of drugs, guns and cash.

According to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI), agents with the Middle Georgia Gang Task Force arrested 40-year-old Ervin Hubbard III and 36-year-old Deyondra Lindsey on Thursday. The arrests followed a two-month investigation involving multiple agencies, including the Georgia Department of Corrections, Georgia State Patrol, the Department of Community Supervision, Dublin Police, Peach County deputies and Warner Robins police.

Agents executed an arrest warrant and a search warrant at Winton Avenue. According to the GBI, they seized about half a kilogram of suspected methamphetamine, about 2.5 ounces of suspected powder cocaine, 172 suspected oxycodone pills, about 3.4 pounds of marijuana, a small amount of suspected psilocybin mushrooms, THC edibles, four firearms and about $36,000 in cash.

The GBI said Hubbard faces charges including trafficking methamphetamine, trafficking cocaine, possession with intent to distribute multiple drugs, four counts of possession of a firearm by a felon and four counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. Lindsey is charged with possession of more than an ounce of marijuana and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

Both were booked into the Bibb County Jail.
