(LILAMAX)- Intuit, the maker of TurboTax and QuickBooks, has signed a multiyear deal worth more than $100 million with OpenAI to integrate the startup’s artificial intelligence language models across its financial products. The technology will be embedded into TurboTax, QuickBooks, Credit Karma and Mailchimp, enhancing user guidance and automation.

TurboTax customers will now be able to link their Intuit accounts to ChatGPT to securely take tax or financial actions. ChatGPT can walk users through tasks related to their tax filings or financial profiles without accessing or viewing their underlying documents.

In the healthcare space, TenDollarHealth has launched what it calls the first telehealth platform offering $10 unlimited primary and urgent care visits with no insurance, deductibles, or surprise bills. Licensed medical providers are available to treat common illnesses, manage chronic conditions like diabetes, address urgent care needs, and offer mental health support. A recent TenDollarTelehealth survey shows more than half of Americans spend over $1,500 out of pocket on healthcare each year, causing many to delay or forgo treatment.

Meanwhile in San Francisco, Zoox has begun allowing select users to hail its fully driverless vehicles, putting the Amazon-owned robotaxi service in direct competition with Alphabet’s Waymo. Waymo opened its service to all San Francisco riders in 2024 and has provided more than 10 million paid rides since first launching in Phoenix in 2020.

Netflix is also expanding its footprint — not on streaming, but in retail. The company has partnered with Hasbro, Mattel and Jazwares to bring merchandise from its original series to store shelves. The streamer is also investing in live and immersive entertainment, including restaurant pop-ups and permanent venues such as Netflix House Philadelphia, which opened last week.
