Hollywood Minute: Quentin Tarantino’s “Kill Bill” returns to theaters
Quentin Tarantino’s martial arts revenge saga is making a bloody comeback.

(CNN)- Quentin Tarantino’s martial arts revenge saga is making a bloody comeback. “Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair” — a unified cut of the two original films released in 2003 and 2004 — will hit theaters on December 5.
The restored version runs more than four and a half hours, including a 15-minute intermission, and features a never-before-seen anime sequence that expands on the Bride’s story. Fans have been waiting nearly two decades for Tarantino’s definitive version to hit the big screen.
Meanwhile, another cinematic classic could soon return. The 1974 action-comedy Thunderbolt and Lightfoot, starring Clint Eastwood and Jeff Bridges, is reportedly being remade. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ryan Reynolds is producing the project, helping write the script, and may star in one of the lead roles.
And in television news, Prehistoric Planet: Ice Age is coming to Apple TV+. The third season of the acclaimed documentary series will explore life after the dinosaurs, during the Pleistocene era. Actor Tom Hiddleston takes over narration from Sir David Attenborough. The five-part season premieres November 26.
