16-year-old in critical condition after Gray Highway shooting

Deputies say the teen was shot Saturday night on Gray Highway and taken to a local hospital.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that left a 16-year-old boy injured Saturday night on Gray Highway.

According to a news release, deputies responded to the 900 block of Gray Highway around 8:38 p.m. after a call to the Macon-Bibb E-911 Center reported a person had been shot. When deputies got there, they found a 16-year-old male with a gunshot wound.

Paramedics took him to a hospital.
