Crawford County man sentenced to 38 years for child molestation
A jury convicted 31-year-old Jordan Lee Hambrick on October 30 of two counts of child molestation, according to the District Attorney’s Office.

CRAWFORD COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Crawford County man will spend nearly four decades in prison after a jury found him guilty of molesting two young sisters while living in their home.
A jury convicted 31-year-old Jordan Lee Hambrick on October 30 of two counts of child molestation, according to the District Attorney’s Office. Prosecutors said that in 2021, Hambrick moved into the home of his then-girlfriend and took on a caretaker role for her children.
During the 37 days he lived there, investigators said Hambrick exposed himself to a 6-year-old girl several times and touched a 4-year-old girl inappropriately during a game of hide and seek. The abuse came to light after Hambrick stole money from the children’s mother and abruptly left the home, officials said.
Testimony during the trial included statements from the victims, their mother, and an older sibling, as well as findings from the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. Child forensic interview specialists from Crescent House also provided expert testimony.
On October 31, the court sentenced Hambrick to 40 years, with 38 years to be served in the Georgia Department of Corrections.
District Attorney Anita Howard released the following statement:
“This sentence ensures that a dangerous predator will spend decades away from the children of our community. We commend the bravery of these young survivors and their family for coming forward, and we thank the jury for holding this defendant accountable for his heinous crimes.”
