Milledgeville to begin emergency stormwater repairs on Heritage Road

The project will include removing and replacing cross drain culverts adjacent to 3027 and 3018 Heritage Road.

MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The City of Milledgeville’s Public Works Stormwater Department will soon begin emergency repairs on Heritage Road to address drainage issues near two residential properties.

The project will include removing and replacing cross drain culverts adjacent to 3027 and 3018 Heritage Road. Traffic will be reduced to a single lane, but vehicular access will remain open throughout the repair period.

Work will take place daily from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., beginning October 27 and continuing through November 26, weather permitting.

City officials urge drivers traveling along Heritage Road to proceed with caution during construction.
