MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Skies will be clear to go with seasonal temperatures Tuesday.
This Evening
A mostly sunny and pleasant afternoon will become a clear and cool night. While afternoon highs have been at or above average, overnight lows have been below normal. That will continue tonight with lows expected in the low to mid 50s. Wind will be light from the northeast-northwest.
Tomorrow
Sunny skies are likely all day Tuesday with highs climbing a bit above normal in the afternoon (lower 80s). Wind will be light from the north-northeast.
Overnight will be clear and cool with lows expected largely in the mid 50s. Wind will stay light from the northeast.
Wednesday and Beyond
Expect pretty consistent conditions throughout the work week with skies staying sunny and winds staying light as afternoon highs stay a bit above normal with overnight lows below normal. Rain chances may return over the coming weekend.
The Tropics
Tropical Storm Lorenzo was named over the weekend in the eastern part of the Atlantic. It is expected to stay to sea and turn north towards Europe/North Africa.
