Multi-agency gang operation underway in Warner Robins
Police and GBI say the coordinated operation includes multiple search warrants and assistance from local, state and federal agencies.

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Multiple law enforcement agencies executed a large-scale gang and racketeering operation Wednesday across several locations in Warner Robins.
According to a news release from the City of Warner Robins, there are multiple active search warrants being served across the city, which may cause temporary traffic impacts in those areas.
“We are asking for the community’s patience as we accomplish these above-mentioned activities,” the release said.
The release said the coordinated operation involved the Warner Robins Police Department’s Narcotics Investigations Unit and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation’s Middle Georgia Gang Task Force.
Supporting agencies included multiple local, state and federal partners: Warner Robins Police Department’s Criminal Investigations, SWAT, Special Tasking Group, IDC, and Patrol Division; the GBI’s Middle Georgia Gang Task Force and Region 13 Field Office; the Houston County Sheriff’s Office; the Perry Police Department; the United States Marshals Service; the Georgia State Patrol Aviation Unit; and sheriff’s offices in Bibb and Butts counties. The Georgia Department of Corrections and Georgia Department of Community Supervision also assisted, and the Houston County District Attorney’s Office provided additional support.
More details will be released later in a joint update from the Warner Robins Police Department and the GBI.
