Police chief: One killed, two hurt in Fort Valley shooting on East Main Street
Fort Valley Police are investigating a shooting Thursday night that left one person dead and two others injured.

FORT VALLEY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A shooting in Fort Valley Thursday night left one person dead and two others injured, according to Police Chief DJ Flores.
Flores said an altercation happened in the 100 block of East Main Street at an events center in downtown Fort Valley. He confirmed shots were fired, killing one person. Two others were injured and transported to Macon hospitals with gunshot wounds.
Flores said investigators are still working to determine what led to the shooting.
