UPDATE: Milledgeville police say Pritchard Street deaths believed to be murder-suicide
Police believe 36-year-old Tavious Antwon Spencer shot 38-year-old Lashonda Lawrence inside a Pritchard Street home before taking his own life.

UPDATE: The Milledgeville Police Department says a man shot and killed a woman before taking his own life in what detectives are calling a murder-suicide on Pritchard Street.
Police said the preliminary investigation shows 36-year-old Tavious Antwon Spencer of Milledgeville shot 38-year-old Lashonda Lawrence of Milledgeville inside a home sometime between 7 a.m. and noon on Thursday. Both bodies will be sent to the GBI Crime Lab in Macon for autopsies.

MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Two people were found dead inside a home on Pritchard Street Thursday afternoon, according to the Milledgeville Police Department.
Police said officers responded to the 400 block of Pritchard Street around 3:30 p.m. When they arrived, they found two people dead inside the home.
Patrol officers secured the scene, and detectives began their investigation. Police said they are not currently looking for any suspects and that there is no ongoing threat to the public.
Chief Dray Swicord said more information will be released at a later time.
