Rain chances begin to return Thursday

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – More cloud cover and a few spotty showers and storms are likely Thursday.
This Evening
A partly sunny afternoon will become a partly cloudy night across Middle Georgia. No rain is likely tonight however the humidity will begin to uptick some starting tonight. Expect lows in the low to mid 60s accompanied by light wind from the east-northeast.
Tomorrow
More clouds are likely for Thursday as mentioned above, however there should still be a decent amount of sun, especially over the first half of the day. Highs will reach the mid 80s for most of the region with a few spotty showers likely through the later parts of the afternoon. A couple of thunderstorms cannot be ruled out. Wind will be light as it generally flows out of the east.
Overnight will be mostly cloudy with a few isolated showers and storms possible. Rain odds will climb more towards Friday morning with solid odds much of the region wakes up to some rainfall. Lows will be in the mid to upper 60s with light wind from the southeast.
Friday and Beyond
Friday will be partly to mostly cloudy with highs likely to range from the upper 70s into the low to mid 80s. Off and on showers and storms will be possible through the day however the bulk of the rain is likely during the morning hours. More rain is likely overnight Friday and Saturday as a low pressure system moves into Georgia from the west. Those odds should be lower by Labor Day Monday.
