(LILAMAX)- Cracker Barrel is walking back its rebranding effort after swift backlash from customers and even criticism from President Donald Trump. The company announced it will scrap its new logo, which many called bland and generic, and keep its longtime “Old Timer” branding instead. Following the announcement, Cracker Barrel’s stock jumped more than 5%.

In a statement, the company said, “We said we would listen, and we have. Our new logo is going away and our ‘Old Timer’ will remain.”

Meanwhile, all eyes are on Nvidia as the world’s most valuable company, worth $4 trillion, reports earnings later today. Nvidia’s chips power artificial intelligence systems like ChatGPT, and investors will be watching closely for signs that demand for AI remains strong.

Stocks closed higher on Tuesday, though trading remained relatively quiet.

In the airline industry, Frontier is targeting struggling rival Spirit Airlines by announcing 20 new routes set to launch this winter. Many of the flights overlap with Spirit’s major markets, including its base at Fort Lauderdale International Airport. Routes from Fort Lauderdale to Detroit, Houston, Chicago, and Charlotte are planned, along with Houston-to-New Orleans service.

And tipping trends are shifting. A new Talker Research survey found Americans are “guilt tipping” less in 2025. On average, respondents reported spending about $300 a year on tips they felt pressured to give — a sharp drop from $453 in 2024.
