Macon man sentenced to 30 years in Houston County drug trafficking case
39-year-old Rajohn Alexander Sandifer entered his plea August 25 in Houston County Superior Court.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Macon man was sentenced Monday to 30 years in prison, with 20 years to serve without parole, after pleading guilty to trafficking methamphetamine, according to the Houston County District Attorney’s Office.
39-year-old Rajohn Alexander Sandifer entered his plea August 25 in Houston County Superior Court. Judge G.E. “Bo” Adams also ordered Sandifer to pay a $200,000 fine and barred him from returning to Houston County as part of the sentence. His existing probation was revoked in full.
Sandifer, a four-time convicted felon with three prior narcotics convictions in Houston County, became the subject of a multi-agency investigation in the fall of 2023. Investigators with the Warner Robins Police Department, Perry Police Department and Houston County Sheriff’s Office learned he was selling methamphetamine, ecstasy, cocaine, fentanyl, mushrooms, marijuana and prescription pills, despite being on probation and parole.
Warner Robins Investigator Marcus Baker conducted several controlled drug buys from Sandifer, leading to an arrest warrant.
On September 20, 2023, investigators moved in to arrest Sandifer at a Warner Robins residence. As officers arrived, he attempted to flee but was caught after a short chase. During the pursuit, Sandifer tried to discard a bookbag that was later found to contain large quantities of narcotics, including 132 grams of methamphetamine, 47 grams of ecstasy, 17 grams of cocaine, 60 hydrocodone pills, 113 oxycodone pills, 108 grams of marijuana, three alprazolam pills, psilocybin mushrooms and fentanyl. Investigators also seized more than $11,000 in cash.
The Houston County District Attorney’s Office credited the joint work of local law enforcement and specifically praised Investigators Baker and Keenan Henderson for their efforts. Sandifer was prosecuted by Senior Assistant District Attorney Mike Smith.
Houston Circuit District Attorney Eric Edwards released the following statement:
“Rajohn Sandifer is a career criminal who has spent years flooding Houston County with dangerous narcotics. Despite multiple prior convictions and opportunities for rehabilitation, he chose to keep selling poison in our community—even while under court supervision and despite a previous banishment order. With this conviction and sentence, he will now spend the next two decades in prison, and when he is released, he will still be prohibited from ever returning to Houston County. This ensures that our community will finally be free from the damage he has caused. I am grateful for the tireless work of the Warner Robins Police Department, the Perry Police Department, and the Houston County Sheriff’s Office, especially Investigators Marcus Baker and Keenan Henderson, whose efforts helped bring this prosecution to a successful conclusion. My office will continue to use every tool available—including banishment—to protect the people of Houston County from repeat offenders.”
