According to the event website, the free, day-long gathering will include outdoor activities like fishing and swimming as well as health services.

Gates open at 8 a.m. with fishing and healthcare screenings starting at 9 a.m.

The first 200 children between the ages of 5 and 18 to arrive will receive a free road-and-reel combo in exchange for two canned food items.

Activities include swimming in Camp Grace’s resort-sized pool, ziplining, wall climbing, horseback riding, a petting zoo and bounce houses. Free food and drinks will be provided, and a raffle giveaway will include several prizes, such as two youth-sized ATVs.

On-site healthcare services for Crawford County residents will include screenings and education for breast cancer, hypertension, diabetes, prostate cancer, vision, nutrition and basic dental care.

“Bring a blanket or portable chair to sit on and your sunglasses, and come prepared to enjoy a day like no other,” the website says.

Organizers remind parents and guardians that children must be accompanied by an adult for the entire event.
