Bibb County deputies seek tips in 1996 Barbara Crenshaw homicide
Deputies say the 39-year-old’s body was found in Echeconee Creek on March 19, 1996, and no arrests have been made.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in solving the 1996 homicide of 39-year-old Barbara Crenshaw, whose body was found in Echeconee Creek in south Bibb County on March 19, 1996.
According to a sheriff’s office news release, deputies said Crenshaw was last seen in the early morning hours of March 19 with an unknown man. Her death was ruled a homicide, but despite an extensive investigation, no arrests have been made.
Investigators believe someone in the community has information that could help identify those responsible.
“Barbara’s family has waited nearly three decades for justice,” the release said.
