FORSYTH, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – If you’re looking for something to do next Friday, Forsyth is getting festive with its annual Christmas in July celebration.

The event will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on July 18 in the Forsyth Main Street parking lot and will feature live music, games for kids, and a variety of local vendors.

Kemie Childs, director of Forsyth Main Street and Downtown Development, said attendees can expect everything from baked goods and local honey to pickled and canned items.

Childs added that visitors might even catch a special deal or two—if they’re not naughty, but nice.

The event is free and open to the public.
