While there have been a good amount of clouds this afternoon, conditions should clear some heading into tonight. A few isolated showers and storms will remain possible, especially over the southeastern third of the region. No severe weather is expected. As for overnight scattered clouds will remain with lows largely in the lower 70s. A few upper 60s cannot be ruled out. Wind will be light and variable.

Tomorrow

More sunshine is expected Thursday with highs that will return to the low to mid 90s across the region. Real feels should reach the upper 90s and lower triple digits. Wind will be light from the north-northeast. One or two spotty showers or a storm will be possible, but rain odds are going to be on the back burner starting tomorrow.

Independence Day will be partly sunny and pretty hot around Middle Georgia with highs near average (low to mid 90s) and real feels in the upper 90s and lower triple digits. Again a few spotty showers can’t be ruled out, but rain is overall not a major concern and fireworks shows and other festivities should be good to go.

The weekend will see partly to mostly sunny conditions with highs staying in the mid 90s. Breezes may pick up from the northeast over the back half of the weekend as an area of low pressure off the southeast coast of Georgia tries to intensify. As of now there are 40% odds for this low to become a Tropical Depression within the next 7 days.
