Organization brings awareness to elderly care resources after incident in Warner Robins
“One of the things that I see unfortunately too often, is people wait too long and they get to a point where they're just so stressed out they have no idea what to do."

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia – (41NBC/WMGT) –In the wake of the recent murder-suicide in Warner Robins involving two elderly residents, a local organization is bringing awareness to the resources available to them.
Visiting Angels of Central Georgia is one of the many organizations that offer elder care services around Middle Georgia. Their services are designed to assist elderly residents with daily living tasks, including meal preparation, transportation, personal care, social interaction, and specialized care for Alzheimer’s and dementia patients.
According to David Milby, President and Co-Owner of Visiting Angels, nearly 70 percent of their clientele struggle with some form of dementia. He highlighted the significance of recognizing when a family member or elderly individual is having difficulties, and the importance of taking proactive steps.
“One of the things that I see unfortunately too often, is people wait too long and they get to a point where they’re just so stressed out they have no idea what to do,” said Milby. “Almost at the point of a nervous breakdown or a physical breakdown, but reaching out to somebody, you know, even just a neighbor or a family member and saying, hey, I need help. This is a situation that’s becoming too much.”
Visiting Angels provides support 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to ensure that families and individuals have access to the care they need during challenging times.
