Four arrested after juvenile stabbed during Forsyth altercation

Police say the suspects fled the scene but were later stopped and detained.

ORIGINAL STORY:

FORSYTH, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Four people were taken into custody Monday night after a female juvenile was stabbed during an altercation in Forsyth, according to a news release from the Forsyth Police Department.

It happened around 11:20 p.m. at 509 West Main Street. When officers arrived, they found a juvenile victim with a stab wound. The victim was given medical attention and taken to a hospital, the release said. At the time of this report, there’s no update on the victim’s condition.

Witnesses told police the suspects drove away westbound on Main Street in a white passenger vehicle. Patrol officers found the vehicle, pulled it over and detained nine people: four adults and five juveniles. Police said none of them live in Forsyth or Monroe County.

After interviews with witnesses, two adults and two juveniles were arrested. None have been identified. Charges are pending, and the case remains under investigation.
