Houston County hosting second fire department town hall on May 27 to gather public feedback
Houston County officials will hold a second town hall meeting to discuss the fire department’s progress and gather input from the community.

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Houston County is hosting a second town hall meeting Tuesday, May 27, to gather public input on the fire department’s growth, recent improvements, and updated ISO rating.
The meeting begins at 6 p.m. at the Houston County Annex Multipurpose Room, 200 Carl Vinson Parkway in Warner Robins, according to a flyer and an email from Fire Chief Christopher Stoner.
This follows the first town hall held Thursday, May 22, at the Houston County Courthouse, which Stoner called “a great success.”
“We need the communities’ input on what they would like to see from their Fire Department,” Stoner said. “Chairman Perdue will open the meeting, and I will follow with updates on the agency and areas we are recommending grow in the coming years.”
Following the presentations from Dan Perdue, Chairman of the Houston County Board of Commissioners, and Fire Chief Stoner, attendees will have an opportunity to participate in a public comment session.
