Slightly cooler finish to the week

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Highs should stay below 90 degrees Friday before they climb again through the weekend.
This Evening
A sunny afternoon will see a few clouds arrive through the evening and into the overnight hours. It should be another mild night with lows below average in the upper 50s and lower 60s. Wind will be calmer than last night, however, staying at around 5 mph from the northwest. No rain is expected.
Tomorrow
A mostly sunny and slightly cooler end to the work week is expected. Highs will reach into the mid to upper 80s across Middle Georgia as the wind flows from the west-northwest at 5-10 mph. An isolated storm or two will be possible in the afternoon, however rain is largely not anticipated.
Overnight will be just below average with lows in the upper 50s and lower 60s ahead of Saturday morning. Wind will be light out of the north-northeast around 5 mph. Skies overhead will largely be clear.
This Weekend and Beyond
Highs will reach back into the 90s for the hottest spots Saturday as a few isolated showers or perhaps a storm will be possible in the afternoon. More spots will reach the 90s Sunday as rain chances begin to climb more. Isolated to scattered afternoon storms are beginning to look likely for Memorial Day on Monday as well.
