Four arrested, 50+ warrants issued after Eastman police search uncovers stolen truck, guns
A search on Livingston Avenue in Eastman led to four arrests, the recovery of stolen items, and over 50 warrants issued, according to law enforcement.

EASTMAN, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Four people, including two juveniles, were arrested Tuesday after law enforcement executed a search warrant on Livingston Avenue in Eastman, uncovering stolen property, firearms and more than 50 outstanding warrants, according to the Eastman Police Department.
The May 13 search was conducted by Eastman Police with support from the Georgia State Patrol (GSP) SWAT Team, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) Bomb Unit and State Probation, the post said. Officers were searching for a wanted person who was possibly in possession of an explosive weapon.
Police have not identified those arrested.
During the search, one suspect tried to run away after dropping a firearm. GSP deployed a K-9 unit, which stopped the suspect from escaping. Investigators recovered two firearms and learned that a truck had been stolen just two hours earlier from an Eastman business.
The investigation also led to the resolution of several entering auto cases that had been previously open. In total, more than 50 warrants were issued, with additional charges pending.
“The Eastman Police Department and our Law Enforcement partners want to show the criminal element in Eastman that we will work vigorously to pursue and prosecute those who choose to break the law,” the post said.
