Ace Falls Short Against Fannin County, Ending Their Season In The Sweet 16 Of Ghsa Class A D 1 Boys Soccer Playoffs

MACON, Georgia – (41NBC/WMGT) – On Friday night on Perkins Field at Gryphon Stadium, the Academy of Classical Education Gryphons Boys’ Soccer team lost to the Fannin County Rebels 3-2 in the second round of the GHSA Class A Division-One State Championships to end their season.

After falling behind 3-0, the Gryphons scored two goals back-to-back within two minutes of each other to cut the deficit to 3-2 with just eight minutes left in the game.

However, ACE could not complete the comeback in time and the Gryphons end their season at 12-7 overall.
