Here are scores from the opening round of the GHSA State Baseball Championship in middle Georgia Friday

MIDDLE GEORGIA – (41NBC/WMGT) – Here is a list of scores from the opening round of the GHSA State Baseball Championship on Friday:

Class AAA:

Peach County 8-1, 13-3 over West Hall – Peach County will host region opponent Bainbridge in the second round Thursday.

Mary Persons 7, Adairsville 0, on the road in game one. Check back for game two update.

West Laurens splits home series with Jefferson 11-10 win in game one, 11-1 loss in game two. Game three is Saturday at noon.

Class AA:

Rutland is swept by Redan 9-0, 18-3 to end the Hurricanes’ season.

Class A D-1:

Bleckley County swept region opponent East Laurens at home 11-1, 14-1 to advance to the second round. The Royals will host Lamar County Thursday.

ACE splits series with Elbert County on the road 4-0, 8-2. Game three is Saturday at 1 p.m.

Washington County swept Putnam County 7-1, 8-1 to advance to the second round. The Golden Hawks host Bacon County Thursday.

Dodge County swept on the road by Jeff Davis 11-1, 5-1 to end their season.

Dublin is swept on the road to Worth County 10-0, 16-6 to end their season.
