More sporadic rain odds tomorrow

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Isolated showers and storms will be possible everywhere in Middle Georgia Wednesday.

It’s been a relatively cloudy day for parts of Middle Georgia as a slim possibility for showers and storms linger for the northern counties in the region. The southern counties have seen more sun and plenty of warmth with temperatures that climbed into the mid to upper 80s. Expect overnight skies to be partly to mostly cloudy with temperatures dropping largely into the lower 60s. Wind will be calm from the east-northeast.

Partly sunny skies are likely early before clouds fill in more later in the afternoon. Highs will reach the mid to upper 80s with isolated showers and storms possible throughout the afternoon and evening. Storms could feature a couple of relatively strong wind gusts or small hail. Ambient winds will generally be out of the south-southeast around 5 mph.

Overnight a few showers or a storm may linger, especially early. Skies will be partly cloudy with lows expected in the lower 60s. Winds ill flow from the southeast at 5-10 mph. Fog will be possible in any location that gets rain during the day.

Thursday will see rain chances jump significantly as scattered storms are likely throughout the afternoon and evening. This could bring some much needed rain to many parts of Middle Georgia before rain odds begin to dip again heading into the weekend. Temperatures will remain warm for this time of year and humidity will also remain in place for the foreseeable future.
