Temperatures climb more Friday

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) –
This Evening
A sunny afternoon will give way to a clear and calm night. Expect wind from the southeast at around 5 mph as temperatures drop to near average, the lower 50s. Some fog will be possible courtesy of rising dew points and calm winds under clear skies. Fire danger remains up due to low humidity for all counties in Middle Georgia until 9:15 PM EDT tonight.
Tomorrow
Mostly sunny skies are likely Friday to accompany highs in the mid to upper 80s and wind from the south at 5-12 mph. No rain is expected.
Overnight will be mostly clear and a bit muggier with lows expected to mainly be in the upper 50s. The warmest spots may stay above 60 degrees. Wind will be out of the south-southeast at 5-12 mph. Some patchy fog will be possible, however the stronger winds could limit overall spread.
This Weekend
Easter Weekend will be warm with highs largely expected in the upper 80s around Middle Georgia. The warmest spots could reach 90 degrees, however confidence in that does seem to be dropping some. Saturday will be mostly sunny while Sunday sees a few more clouds, however no rain is expected through the holiday weekend. Expect warm and muggy conditions to roll into next week. While these conditions may favor the return of mosquitos, until more rain moves in there likely will not be a resurgence of them.
