Temperatures begin to heat up Thursday

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Middle Georgia will see temperatures jump above average Thursday afternoon.
This Evening
A sunny afternoon will become a clear and pleasant evening with temperatures hanging in the 60s before eventually dropping into the low to mid 40s. Wind will be much calmer tonight at around 5 mph front the north. Overnight skies will remain clear.
Tomorrow
Mostly sunny skies are anticipated Thursday as the wind shifts to the southeast at around 5 mph. Highs will reach into the lower 80s for most of the region.
Overnight will be mostly clear with low temperatures jumping into the 50s thanks to the more humid air moving in. Wind will flow from the southeast-southeast at around 5-10 mph. Some fog will be possible leading up to Friday morning.
Friday and Beyond
Temperatures will be well above average to finish the week with partly cloudy afternoons becoming the theme ahead of Easter. It will also be muggier with the wind staying out of the south. Rain chances will stay down until early next week.
