Deputies: Man hospitalized after Monday night shooting on Houston Avenue in Macon

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Monday night shooting on Houston Avenue that left a 44-year-old man injured.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Monday night shooting on Houston Avenue that left a 44-year-old man injured.

It happened in the 3400 block of Houston Avenue and was reported to the Macon-Bibb Emergency 911 Center just before 7:30 p.m., according to a news release from the sheriff’s office.

Deputies arrived at the scene and found the man with a gunshot wound. Paramedics took him to the hospital for treatment, where he is listed in critical condition.
