Police: Man arrested after two women stabbed in Warner Robins
Officers arrested a 26-year-old man Thursday night after two women were injured in a stabbing during a domestic incident on Leisure Lake Drive, according to the Warner Robins Police Department.
WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Officers arrested a 26-year-old man Thursday night after two women were injured in a stabbing during a domestic incident on Leisure Lake Drive, according to the Warner Robins Police Department.
It happened just before 6:30 at 512 Leisure Lake Drive, police said in a news release.
When officers arrived, they found two female victims. A 24-year-old woman had multiple stab wounds and was taken to a local hospital. She is currently listed in stable condition. A 50-year-old woman had several slash wounds and was treated at the scene.
Police said they arrested the suspect near the scene shortly after arriving. Detectives with the Criminal Investigative Division and Identification Criminalistics responded to investigate and process the scene.
“Due to the early stages of the investigation and it being family violence, names of the involved parties will not be released at this time,” police said in the news release.
