More wind expected Wednesday

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Sunny skies and warm conditions will continue as the wind increases Wednesday.
This Evening
Sunny skies from the afternoon will stay clear tonight. Expect wind from the west to become more northwesterly overnight, staying rather calm. Dew points have dropped back into the low to mid 40s which is where lows should end up by tomorrow morning.
Tomorrow
A few more clouds are expected tomorrow as a second weaker cold front moves through the Peach State. That front will bring more wind to the area, and that will likely be the only noticeable impact. Expect gusts to push over 20 mph from the northwest throughout the afternoon.
Overnight skies will be mostly clear as the wind slows more with a shift towards the northwest throughout-northeast. It will be a cooler night as a result of the front in the afternoon. Expect lows to drop towards the 40 degree mark ahead of Thursday morning.
Thursday and Beyond
While things will stay pretty sunny on Thursday more clouds will begin to move in Friday afternoon. A few isolated showers are likely over the weekend before storm odds increase early next week.
