Pollen levels spiking across Middle Georgia

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Sunshine and warmer temperatures will encourage trees to continue to bloom, leading to more pollen.
This Evening
Skies will stay clear across Middle Georgia as things get a bit chilly. Expect lows in the mid to upper 30s. Wind will remain a bit breezy from the northwest with gusts ranging 15-20 mph. You’ll likely want a coat with some substance if you are heading out early tomorrow.
Tomorrow
Mostly sunny skies are expected with highs reaching the mid to upper 70s. Wind will flow from the southwest at around 5 mph with gusts ranging 10-15 mph. Expect high levels of tree pollen as they continue to bloom. A couple of clouds will likely pass overhead in the afternoon.
Tomorrow night expect mostly clear skies with lows in the upper 30s and lower 40s. Wind will remain out of the southwest at around 5 mph.
Wednesday and Beyond
Expect very warm conditions Wednesday as highs climb into the upper 70s and lower 80s across Middle Georgia. It will be a bit breezier as well with south-southwest winds flowing in at 5-15 mph. These will increase more overnight ahead of some storms that will arrive before sunrise Thursday.
Thursday is the Vernal Equinox (first day of spring), so there will be equal length day and night. It will also be a cooler day as a result of the cold front that brings those early storms. Temperatures will rebound ahead of the weekend.
