Sunshine returns Tuesday

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Sunny skies and spring temperatures will be back for Middle Georgia Tuesday.
This Evening
Light to moderate rainfall will continue through the suppertime hours around Middle Georgia as moisture cycles around the western side of an area of low pressure that moved through the Peach State Sunday. This rain should fade out not long after sunset (which is later in the day now thanks to the Time Change this weekend). Conditions will also remain breezy as the wind flows from the northwest at 7-12 mph. Gusts could still push over 20 mph into tonight. It will be a cold night as well with lows expected in the upper 30s and lower 40s for most of the region.
Tomorrow
Temperatures will rebound big time thanks to the return of sunny skies. Expect highs in the low to mid 70s across the region with wind from the west-northwest coming in around 5 mph.
Wind will remain calm from the west overnight as skies stay clear. Expect most lows to be in the lower 40s, however the coldest spots may drop into the upper 30s.
Wednesday and Beyond
Toasty conditions are expected Wednesday as highs reach the upper 70 and perhaps lower 80s for the warmest spots. Skies overhead should again be clear, however this time the wind will flow from the southwest at 5-10 mph. This will make things a bit muggier ahead of shower chances on Thursday.
