Westfield’s Jackson St. Clair signs to play football and track for Berry College
"I feel like I definitely bring an aspect that they don't have right now in the return game," Jackson St. Clair said.

PERRY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – At The Westfield School in Perry, home of the Hornets, wide receiver Jackson St. Clair signed Wednesday to play football and track the Berry College Vikings in Mount Berry.
“It’s definitely awesome,” he said. “I feel like I’ve been really working hard for this. I want to definitely excel at the next level, so I’m really excited.”
St. Clair, who currently has a GPA higher than 4.0 and is going to major in sports medicine, told us about why he chose Berry College and what he’s going to bring to the field this upcoming season.
“I didn’t really know too much about it before I stepped onto the campus, and then once I got there, I just loved it,” he said. “I mean all the coaches were super welcoming and it just felt like home for me, so that’s why I chose it.”
“I feel like I definitely bring an aspect that they don’t have right now in the return game,” he added. “I feel like I’m really explosive in our return game, and I feel like that’s really going to benefit them as well.”
St. Clair says his favorite play last season was the 95-yard kick return on Senior Night against the St. Anne-Pacelli Vikings from Columbus. He also wants to give a shoutout to his QB1: Brayden Gay.
“We’re excited for him and his future endeavors at Berry, and we wish him nothing but the best,” Westfield head coach Chad Campbell said. “He’s been an outstanding citizen here, and an outstanding young man at this school, and this is just a great day for the Westfield community.”
