The Georgia Department of Corrections (GDC) has confirmed an inmate died at Dooly State Prison on Sunday.

UNADILLA, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Georgia Department of Corrections (GDC) has confirmed an inmate died at Dooly State Prison on Sunday.

According to GDC, which did not immediately reveal the inmate’s identity, authorities don’t suspect foul play at this time.

The body was turned over to the county coroner, who will send it to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) crime lab for an official cause of death determination.
