2 inmates dead at Hancock State Prison, GDC confirms gang-related incident
According to the news release, two inmates are dead, however one of the inmates had no visible signs of injury and his death appears to have been medically-related.

HANCOCK COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Two inmates died on Thursday at the Hancock State Prison, according to a news release from the Georgia Department of Corrections (GDC).
GDC did confirm that an altercation took place among inmates on January 30.
According to the news release, two inmates are dead, however one of the inmates had no visible signs of injury and his death appears to have been medically-related. A third inmate was transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries.
GDC says the incident appears to have been gang-related. No staff injuries were reported.
Prince Porter and William Holeman were the two inmates who died at the Hancock State Prison.
Porter was serving 20 years for criminal attempt out of Dekalb County with a maximum release date of August 2030.
Holeman was serving 20 years for armed robbery out of Coweta County with a maximum release date of March 2041.
