Reward offered for information on Christmas night puppy shooting in Kathleen

The Houston County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help after nine 5-month-old puppies were reportedly placed in a kennel and shot in Kathleen on Christmas night.

KATHLEEN, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — The Houston County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help after nine 5-month-old puppies were reportedly placed in a kennel and shot in Kathleen on Christmas night.

According to a flyer shared by the sheriff’s office on Facebook, only one puppy survived.

“By some miracle, he was completely uninjured physically,” the flyer stated.

A $500 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible. The flyer urges anyone with information to come forward. Tips will remain anonymous.
