Sunny and breezy Thursday

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Thursday will be sunny and breezy as wind flows from the west-southwest at 10-15 mph, gusting upwards of 25 mph throughout the afternoon.
Highs will climb into the upper 50s and lower 60s, or around the average for this time of year.
Expect mostly clear skies tomorrow night and into Friday morning as temperatures again fall to around the freezing point. Wind will calm to around 5 mph from the west-northwest.
Friday and Beyond
Friday will see mostly sunny skies and temperatures that largely rise into the lower 60s as high pressure passing through in the morning reverses the wind direction to out of the south. This will allow moisture to return to the region ahead of clouds Friday night and rain Saturday. Rain should be gone by Sunday, however cloudy skies and strong winds will linger.
