1 dead after three-vehicle crash at Eisenhower, Pio Nono intersection

The Bibb County Sheriff's Office says the crash was called in just after midnight.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) –  One person is dead and another person is in the hospital after a three-vehicle crash early Sunday morning at the intersection of Eisenhower Parkway and Pio Nono Avenue.

According to a Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, the crash was reported just after midnight.

Deputies say a White Honda Civic was reported to have been traveling southbound on Pio Nono Avenue when it collided with a Black Chevrolet Equinox traveling eastbound on Eisenhower and a Blue Honda Accord traveling westbound on Eisenhower.

The Equinox driver was checked by paramedics on scene and released. The female Honda driver was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition. The male Honda driver, who Macon-Bibb Coroner Leon Jones identified as 35-year-old Demarco Marquis Beasley, was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 1:13 a.m.

The crash is under investigation.
