Bibb County deputies say a man wanted in connection to a December shooting that sent two men to the hospital is now in custody.

UPDATE (2/11/25): Bibb County deputies say a man wanted in connection to a December shooting that sent two men to the hospital is now in custody.
According to a sheriff’s office news release, sent Tuesday, deputies arrested 24-year-old Steven Keywone Pettigrew on Sunday, February 9 after responding to an apartment complex in the 4600 block of Mercer University Drive in reference to a report of a person trespassing.
Deputies learned through their investigation that Pettigrew, the man accused of trespassing, had two aggravated assault warrants in connection to the December shooting.
Pettigrew is being held in the Bibb County Jail. His bond was denied.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Bibb County deputies say two men are in stable condition at the hospital after being shot Saturday morning.
According to a sheriff’s office news release, it happened in the 1000 block of Fort Hill Street. Deputies responded just after 11 a.m. and found a 62-year-old man and a 45-year-old man with gunshot wounds.
Both men were taken to a medical facility.
