WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – KIHOMAC officially broke ground Thursday on a new aerospace manufacturing facility in Warner Robins, a move expected to bring 75 new full-time jobs to the area.
The 130,000-square-foot facility, which will be located in the Robins International Industrial Park and is scheduled to be complete by the end of 2025, is expected to improve local manufacturing capabilities in support of the Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex at Robins Air Force Base. The location is a result of a partnership between KIHOMAC and the Joint Development Authority of Peach County and the City of Warner Robins. Robins International Industrial Park, one mile from Interstate 75, is located in Warner Robins and Peach County.
“The City of Warner Robins welcomes KIHOMAC to the City’s growing industrial landscape,” Warner Robins Mayor LaRhonda Patrick said. “These new industrial jobs are an exciting opportunity for our residents. Industries like this play a vital role in sustaining and modernizing equipment essential to the operations at Robins Air Force Base.”
The facility will focus on manufacturing metal, composite and electrical components for aerospace applications and will serve both domestic and international clients. The expansion reflects KIHOMAC’s commitment to meeting growing demands for aerospace innovation while supporting economic growth in the Warner Robins region, according to a City of Warner Robins news release.
“We are thrilled to bring this new facility to Warner Robins,” KIHOMAC founder and CEO Ki Ho Kang said. “This community represents the spirit of hard work and resilience, and we’re honored to contribute to the region’s growth.”
