Warner Robins Police identify suspect in attempted sexual battery at Walmart

Warner Robins Police have identified a man they say was involved in an attempted sexual battery at Walmart on Booth Road on Saturday.

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Warner Robins Police say they have identified a man they believe was involved in an attempted sexual battery at Walmart on Booth Road on Saturday.

Officers responded to a report of the suspect trying to touch a woman inappropriately in an aggressive manner. The woman was able to fight off the suspect and took a photo of him before he left the store, according to a news release from the Warner Robins Police Department.

Initially, police asked for help identifying the suspect, but an update said they’d identified him. However, when asked for additional details, including the suspect’s name or whether he is in custody, Warner Robins Police said in an email, “Not able to provide at this time due to the active investigation. An updated media release will be sent out when able to.”
